This puts the Fed in a situation of trying to control the domestic economy and the international economy. It can’t help both at the same time. An action that helps one, hurts the other. The Fed is trying to use it’s policies to steer the economy. It doesn’t understand that economic laws are trying to correct the Feds steering.
