THE BREAK DOWN OF THE RULE OF LAW

The rule of law defined as, 1) general rules, that are 2) known in advance, 3) which apply to the rulers as well as the ruled.

Before you read the next three articles think about this definition, and remember these examples of this breakdown. 1) Nothing happened to the IRS (Lois Lerner) when agents used their power against liberty groups. 2) Hillary promised to bring the person who made the Youtube video to justice. Although blaming the video was an out right lie, the government did put ‘this person’ in jail, but not for the making the video. They put him in jail for a probation violation. 3) Hillary Clinton broke the law by conducting government business on her private e-mail server. The fact that some of the e-mails were classified or top secret only adds more illegality to the original illegal activity. Do you think she will spend any time in jail? Not a snow balls chance…! She is probably trying to find someone who will take the fall for her.

There are so many laws on the books, we can’t possibly know all of them. Each of us can be found to have broken a law if we’ve run afoul of a motivated government agent or agency. Our betters never have to follow the laws that we, the benighted masses, have to follow. This breakdown has been happening for decades, and the push back is about to boil over. The rise of anti establishment candidates in both parties is proof of this.

Grand Jury Indicts Planned Parenthood Video Filmmaker For Organ Trafficking, Issues No Charges Against Planned Parenthood, by thefederalist.com. Pro-Life activist David Daleiden, who made the undercover videos showing Planned Parenthood employees trafficking in baby parts, was indicted on trafficking in baby parts. I like the statement from Daleiden, “We respect the processes of the Harris County District Attorney, and note that buying fetal tissue requires a seller as well.” Who might that seller be? Unfortunately for Mr Daleiden he is on the wrong side of political correctness when it comes to the lefts sacrament of abortion. Deny “Climate Change”? Don’t Live In California! by Russ Helper, at thefederalistpapers.org. The California Attorney General has joined the Attorney General of New York in trying to prosecute Exxon Mobil for supposedly lying to its shareholders and the public about global warming. If people aren’t allowed to talk about a scientific ‘theory’, we’ve lost our right to free speech. Exxon Mobil is on the wrong side of political correctness when it comes to the lefts sacred scripture about global warming.

Jury-Nullification Activist charged With Felony By Mecosta County Prosecutor, by Bob Unruh, at wnd.com. Keith Wood passed out pamphlets about jury nullification to members of a jury pool. Although jury nullification is legal, the judge didn’t like it and ordered that he be arrested. Mr. Wood was on the wrong side of people who were in positions to bring the full force of government down on him.

In spite of residence complaints about the waters smell, they were told to keep drinking it. Nothing will happen to the people who brought about this disaster. Just like the EPA poisoning the Animus River in Colorado.

The Supreme Court is allowing Government intervention into the pricing system for energy via the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, (have you ever heard of this commission?). Even the Court wants the government to circumvent the decision-making by individuals in free markets.

Common Core To Cost CA. Nearly $10 Billion, And The Nation $80 Billion, by Joy Pullmann, at thefederalist.com. You will pay through the nose so the elite can brainwash the next generation into thinking that everything flows from “benevolent” government.

Amazing how the S&P 500 tracks right along with the electronically printed money the Fed has injected into the financial markets through the process of purchasing mortgage-backed securities and government debt. Is this causation or correlation?

This Is Why “Everyone Was Shocked” By The Bank Of Japan Announcement, at zerohedge.com. The BOJ followed the ECB and the central banks of Sweden, Denmark, and Switzerland in adopting negative interest rates. This is an attempt to incentivize people to spend cash to stimulate the economy,instead of holding it as savings. When will they ever learn that injecting money into the economy is a short term benefit that creates a long term problem.

Ladies; how does it feel to be ahead of men but behind gay, bisexual, and transgender people on the value scale of the politically correct elite? Gainesville Police Officer Bobby White responded to a complaint of kids playing basketball loudly in the street. He responds by playing ball with them. Says he is going to bring back up to get a little game on tomorrow.

Officer Bobby White treated these kids like he would want to be treated. He didn’t know Shaq would show up and be his back up.  We can all learn a lesson from Officer White and Shaq.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

The only difference between Hillary and Trump is that one is running as a Democrat and the other is running as a Republican. But make no mistake about it, both are playing for the same Big Government team. Anyone who believes in the sovereignty of the Individual over the state, as spelled out in the Constitution, should think about what these two have said and done in the past. Government coercion will increase if either one is elected.

As most of you know Thomas Sowell is one of my favorite authors. The first book by Dr. Sowell that I read was Vision Of The Anointed. I was hooked. The amount of insight per words written is staggering. His ability to make the complex understandable to regular people like me sets him apart from others. I try to read everything he’s written.

Dr. Sowell talks about his new book titled Wealth, Poverty, and Politics with Peter Robinson on Uncommon Knowledge sponsored by The Hoover Institution. This video covers interesting topics from economics, to culture and ethnicity. It is worth the investment of time to watch this.

Now marginal producers, that would not have come into existence under normal market conditions, must be liquidated to correct the Feds intervention. But the Fed doesn’t want to allow the correction to the problem it caused.

Ohio law states that it is illegal to leave your car running with your keys in it. They passed this law to prevent car thefts. What right do legislative busybodies have to tell us what we can do with our property. You own your car. If you want to weigh the risk of warm up your car in the morning vs. its potential theft, it should be your decision not theirs. just another example of incremental intervention by tyrannical government. Ohio is not the only state that has this law (read here).

Philadelphia Police Chief And Mayor Disagree on whether a police being shot had something, or nothing, to do with Islam. The police chief reports the facts of the case. The Mayor ignores these facts and gives his politically correct opinion about the shooting. It’s as if the Mayor wasn’t paying attention to what the police chief said just seconds before he makes his statement.

Rape is a legal issue that should be handled by cops and courts. Colleges are not equipped to handle allegations of rape. Colleges should let the legal system take care of these accusations.

The President’s Views On The Founding And The Second Amendment

President Obama held a town hall meeting about gun violence last week. When the President is off his teleprompter, he always lets his true ideology slip out for all to see. The video below is no exception.

Here is a recap of the video if you don’t want to watch it.

Gabby Gifford’s husband talks about how people are afraid that the government wants more back ground checks so it can have a registry, which will lead to confiscation, which will lead to a tyrannical government. He than asks, if the government wants to confiscate 350 million guns, how would they do that?

Some in the audience start to clap as the camera pans to a priest who is clapping and smiling. But look closely at the ladies on each side of him. Not only are they not clapping, they have a scowl on their faces.

One comment about the set up to the question. Tyrannical government doesn’t follow the confiscation of guns. Tyrannical government would have had to have been in existence long before any confiscation.

THE PRESIDENTS VIEW OF THE FOUNDING

The President than says. “This notion of a conspiracy out there it gets wrapped up in concerns about the federal government. Now there’s a long history of that. That’s in our DNA. The United States was born suspicious of some distant authority.”

Mr. President, with all due respect, our founders weren’t suspicious of something distant. They were living with the reality of the tyrannical British authority that was present in the colonies. Of course the King was in England which was some distance away, but King George sent his governors and generals over here to rule over the colonists. The long arm of the King stretched across the ocean. The third amendment of the Constitution states, “No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner….” 

Our founders made this part of the Bill of Rights because “Red Coats” were actually taking over people’s homes without the consent of the owners. Doesn’t our constitutional scholar and chief know that we broke away from a tyrannical government that was here on our shores, not “something distant”? Of course he does. He is a propagandist along the lines of Edward Bernays, Joseph Goebbels, and Noam Chomsky.

THE PRESIDENTS VIEW ON GUNS

He goes on to say that people who believe his government wants to confiscate guns are conspiracy theorists. Here is an excerpt.

“It is a conspiracy. Are you suggesting a notion that were creating a plot to take everyone’s guns away so that we can impose martial law. Is that a conspiracy? Yes that’s a conspiracy…..down state Illinois is closer to Kentucky than to Chicago and everybody hunts down there. And a lot of folks own guns so this is not alien territory to me. I’ve got a lot of friends…who are hunters….. It is a false notion that I believe is circulated for political reasons or commercial reasons in order to present a coming together of many people of good will to develop common sense rules that will make us safer…..”

The propagandist and chief tries to use the term conspiracy to paint the opposition as crazies. He tries to make it seem like the only use for guns is hunting. He tries to seem sympathetic by saying he has friends who hunt. He implies that people of good will and common sense agree with him. He implies that the only reasons people don’t agree with him are because of political or economic interests.

The President and his ilk are willing to move their football down the ideological field inch by inch until they get what they want. Just look at how many decades it took to get government-run healthcare, and they aren’t finished yet. The progressives hope Obamacare is the penultimate step toward their goal of a single payer system. If Progressives where this patient with healthcare, don’t you think they’re willing to work in incremental steps over many decades to reach their goal of getting rid of guns?

Here is an article titled, “FLASHBACK”-Author Quotes Obama – Then Professor Obama Saying I Don’t Believe People Should Own Guns ,at cnsnews.com. In this article economics and author John Lott recalls conversations regarding gun laws they had while working at the University of Chicago. Here is an excerpt from the article.

“In chapter three of his new book, At The Brink, Mr. Lott discusses gun-control and takes the reader back to his time at the University of Chicago, where he and then visiting professor Barack Obama spoke on numerous occasions about guns in America.”

“I don’t believe People should be able to own guns,” Obama told Lott on day at the University of Chicago Law School.

“Lott explains that he first met Obama shortly after completing his research on concealed handgun laws and crime.”

“He did not come across as a moderate who wanted to bring people together,” Lott writes.

“After he introduced himself to Obama, Lott suggested that they have lunch one day to discuss their views on guns. According to Lott, Obama “grimaced and turned away.” That was the way many conversations with Obama ended, Lott says.”

“Although the Law School was famous for openness of its faculty and friendly engagement, Lott says, “Obama…preferred silent, scowling disdain to collegiality.”

“… in a Fox News interview Obama stated, “I have said consistently that I believe that the Second Amendment is an individual right.”

Lott isn’t convinced: “Despite his assurance to Fox News that he understands the Second Amendment, it’s a good bet that the positions Obama took on guns during his time at Chicago reveal his true convictions.“

Who is telling the truth? President Obama or John Lott.

Trying to take away the States monopoly on money printing through the political process is a daunting task. Put your thinking cap on for this one.

The Rise Of Independent (non-state) Crypto-Currencies, by Charles Hugh Smith, at oftwominds.com. This is how the States money printing monopoly will be taken down. When I first heard of Bitcoin, my first thought was Bitcoin, or some other crypto-currency, could lead to money being restored as a product of the free market. The States monopoly of money printing could be broken just like the taxi cartels monopoly was broken by an app on a phone (Uber).

The Feds intervention in the free market by its policy of below market interest rates and electronically printing counterfeit money will eventually be corrected by economic forces that are always in play. The bust is correcting the Fed induced boom.
