June 12, 2013

I got these cartoons from theburningplatform.com. I picked the ones I liked but there are others that are very good.

132856 600 Collecting Information cartoons

132853 600 PRIVACY IN AMERICA cartoons

132837 600 Restoring Trust cartoons

One way to diminish the power of  bureaucrats and politicians is to laugh at them every time they say something.

132824 600 NSA phone snooping cartoons

The main stream press can be added to the  groups that can be laughed at.

STRATEGY TO COUNTER DATA COLLECTING

Watch this NSA Wiretapping Public Service Announcement, at funnyordie.com. It is great satire but also a great strategy. Overwhelming the system works for them it should work for us. If everyone is a suspect, nobody stands out, and the data that is mined isn’t as usable. It’s like trying to find a needle in a stack of needles.

Marquese Scott, Dubstep Dancing.

April 19, 2013

Let’s take a break from our usual content and watch this video of Marquese Scott dubsteppin to the song Pumped Up Kicks. This video has over 85 million views. It’s hard to believe anyone could make his body move like this. A computer animation couldn’t come close to what he is doing. I’ll bet you watch this more than once. Enjoy.

The Media, Slowly Being Dragged Into Covering Abortion Doctor Kermit Gosnell’s Murder Trial.

Why has the media been dragged kicking and screaming into this story? We’re told that journalists can put their personal biases aside and cover a story right down the middle: but, if they don’t cover a particular story, we won’t be able to discern the truth about the assumptions concerning their biases, or are their biases revealed by the stories they don’t report? Here is a link to a story on the Blaze, which shows a video clip from Glenn Beck’s TV show, about the Dr. Gosnell story. It doesn’t matter what you think of Glenn Beck, the questions and issues he raises about the media, and progressives in general, and late-term abortions in particular,  have to be confronted.

Physicist Werner Heisenberg said, “…separation of the observer from the phenomenon to be observed is no longer possible.” In other words, how you think determines what you see, and when your thinking produces an incorrect perception about reality, it doesn’t change the underlying reality, it only masks it in your mind. At some point you have to change your thinking to fit reality, instead of trying to change reality to fit your thinking.

If the stories the main stream media chooses not to report shows their bias, how can you trust they are not being biased on the stories they choose to report?

Let’s Take A “Serious” Look At Conspiracy Theories.

March 27, 2013

Let’s take a break and laugh at ourselves concerning conspiracy theories. Many of us fall into the trap of thinking their has to be complex explanations for everything. Many times there are simple explanations for complex situations. The simple fact that the earth is tilted on its axis explains why the seasons change. Seasonal change sets in motion complex processes from photosynthesis to bird migration.

Always remember correlation is not causation.

Luke’s Change: An Inside Job (view here)

This Star Wars conspiracy theory video is really funny. But let’s also understand that many people try to discredit arguments that they can’t refute with logic and facts, by labeling the person who puts forth the argument  a “conspiracy theorist”. The red flag should always go up when the person is being attacked, instead of his argument being  answered.

Purchasing A Gun vs. Purchasing An Abortion.

Let’s take a look at the differences and similarities between purchasing a gun and purchasing an abortion.

Both guns and abortions are goods or services which are produced and purchased on the free market.

When a gun is purchased, there’s a 99%  chance that gun will never result in the death of a single individual. When an abortion is purchased, there is a 99% chance the abortion will result in the death of an individual.

My tax dollars aren’t used to purchase a gun for someone who can’t afford it. My tax dollars are used to purchase an abortion for a woman or a girl who can’t afford it.

You can legally use a gun to kill an attacker in self-defense, if your life is threatened. You can legally use an abortion to kill a baby for any reason, including the mother’s life being threatened by the baby. (more…)

Miss Carly Rose Sonenclar Performes “Money Tree” At Birdland Jazz Club.

March 1, 2013

Let’s take a break from what we normally talk about, because it’s starting to affect my mood. When I need an eraser for my mental blackboard, I listen to songs performed by this young girl whom god has blessed with unique vocal talent. I posted Carly’s  X Factor Audition Of Nina Simone’s  “Feeling Good”  after I saw it on EconomicPolicyJournal.com,  because I couldn’t believe anybody, let alone someone 13 years old, could be that good. I watched Carly’s performances on X Factor, her vocals were incredibly unique, and many times her versions of the songs were better than the original artists. She was humble, always thankful, well spoken, and didn’t have an ego, all of which are rare qualities in today’s society. Listening to her sing always puts a smile on my face. Here is a video of Carly singing “Money Tree” at Birdland Jazz Club when she was 12 years old. Enjoy!

Photos Of The President Skeet Shooting?

The photos in this article, at Economicpolicyjournal titled The White House Warns Against Photoshopping Obama But The Internet Can’t Help Itself, are a must see because they are funny, and you must read some of the comments by the readers, they are priceless.

When the ruling elite continually take away people’s rights, and also take their property through taxation, all the while demeaning them during the whole process, how could they think that people wouldn’t respond exactly how they’ve responded. I laughed when I saw the original photo of the president “shooting clay birds”, because I’ve seen the President throw a baseball and shoot a basketball. He doesn’t have to worry about turning in his man card, because he was never given one in the first place.

Watch Marine Cpl. Nick Kimmel, throw out a first pitch, contrast and compare.
